Designed a mobile training platform for beauty product retailers, transitioning from a web application to a mobile-first experience.
Landing Intl. needed an experienced designer who could do more than ship screens — they needed someone to design the app, establish design processes, and build their internal design capability from the ground up. I took on a dual role as lead designer and design consultant, working closely with product managers and developers to ensure the work was both ambitious and technically feasible.
The brief was to transition their existing web application into a mobile-first training platform for beauty product retailers — balancing a B2C visual language that felt at home in the beauty industry with the functional demands of a B2B tool.
I designed a comprehensive mobile app experience from end to end, including a beauty product database with intuitive search and browsing, an interactive training course platform, community and engagement features, and a gamification and rewards system. Alongside the product work, I established the design system that continues to support the team's growth today.
The app launched successfully, expanding Landing Intl.'s market reach beyond the web. I hired and mentored the company's first junior designer, who progressed to an intermediate level within the engagement. The design processes I introduced are still in use by the team today.
